Adecco in partnership with our client, an organization specializing in improving operational efficiencies for businesses, is currently hiring a full-time highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant in Toronto, ON. In this position you will play a critical role in managing our clients’ financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making. This position requires a minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience, hold a professional accounting qualifications and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.If you are a dedicated and analytical Financial Accountant looking for a new challenge, apply today!Location: Toronto, ONJob type: Permanent | Full-timeResponsibilities:Reconciling bank and credit card accountsManaging Accounts Receivable and Accounts PayableProcessing monthly/quarterly HST/GST/Payroll remittances (Canada and Ireland)Processing annual T4sDelivering monthly financial management reports, including budgeting, forecasting and analysisProducing reconciliations and transactionsMonth-end closingEngaging with the CRA and relevant regulatory agencies, as requiredLiaising with brokers and benefits provider for appropriate plan set up and administrationNew vendor set-upsData analysis and reporting.Identifying and reporting riskAssisting with the preparation of financial reporting packages and statementsCash managementInter-company accountingAd-hoc inquires and reportsDeveloping various schedules for auditorsProviding support in managing larger training and consulting projects – tracking of days, costs and marginQualifications:Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada3+ years of full-cycle accounting experienceProfessional accounting qualificationExperience of provincial and federal taxation and remittance requirementsSelf-motivated, collaboratively focusedAttention to detailHighly organizedTech savvy (experience using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero cloud accounting software an asset)Advanced knowledge of the MS suite – Office, Outlook, etc.Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning and reporting an assetStrong written and verbal communication skillsAre you interested in this position?
