For example, inbound and outbound calls, video meetings, email, etc. This role will uncover client needs, provide investment advice, and deliver financial education. In addition, the role will be responsible for sourcing sales opportunities through internal partnerships and/or suitability conversations with clients.

  • Provide exceptional client experience and meet or exceed established sales targets
  • Be an expert in the benefits, features and operational processes of the ATB Wealth Advice Centre including ATB Prosper and Group Wealth Services product offerings
  • Timely delivery of expert financial advice and support to clients through a variety of digital channels
  • Able to adhere to set working schedule that’s built 5 weeks out in advance
  • Robust client conversations to confirm product suitability and fulfill your regulatory duty of care
  • Ongoing evaluation of our product offerings relative to client needs to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain a strong understanding of investment related regulations, sales processes, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements in order to adhere to the compliance code of conduct and respect the ethical values of the financial advisor role

Skills, experience & requirementsYou are and/or have:

  • A thorough knowledge of wealth management solutions and tools
  • A deep understanding of mutual fund products and the features of both registered and non-registered investment accounts
  • A holistic approach to client discovery and analysis
  • Strong work ethic with an ability to stay focused through periods of high volume and under demanding circumstances
  • Effective relationship building, communication, and discovery skills through virtual means
  • The ability to embrace technology to maximize productivity and enhance processes
  • The ability to work independently and an aptitude for cross functional collaboration with teams
  • A growth mindset and the ability to make client-focused, data driven decisions
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

  • Completion of a two-year college diploma or bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of related wealth management experience is preferred
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) within the last 3-years
  • Completion of the Conduct and Practices Handbook, Investment Advisors Training Program (90-Day) and/or Wealth Management Essentials course is preferred but not required
  • Pursuing the QAFP or CFP certification is expected as part of this role
  • Able to work shift work including Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Dataphile considered a strong asset
  • Past work experience in a call center environment would also be an asset
