For this Financial Analyst position, our client offers the following benefits:– Salary up to 85K

– Reimbursement of continuing educationResponsibilities
– Prepare the company’s external financial statements, as well as the Management’s Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) and AIF Annual Report on the Workiva reporting platform.
– Compile appropriate supporting documentation to substantiate all data disclosed in external filings, including disclosure checklists.
– Perform calculations for complex and non-routine transactions, such as purchase price allocations.
– Perform quarterly and annual impairment tests for various intangible and capital assets.
– Contribute to the evolution and improvement of reporting tools. Identify and implement improvements in internal processes for more efficient compilation of external financial statements and other disclosure documents.
– Collaborate with auditors and third-party service providers to ensure compliance with the highest standards.
– Actively participate in the establishment of the department’s short and long term objectives, policies and operating procedures, including the target operating model for the finance functions.
– Communicate regularly with the executive team and VP-level leaders across the organization.
– Work on ad hoc analysis and one-off special projects, such as the continued implementation of the SAP S4Hana ERP system and due diligence for acquisitions.
– Support the team in its efforts by performing financial reporting tasks as required.Qualifications
The following qualifications are required for the Financial Analyst position:– CPA or CPA in progress
– 3 to 5 years’ experience
– Knowledge of IFRS 16
– Experience in a public company
– Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken
– Able to work in a dynamic environment
– Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and Workiva software an asset
– Knowledge of Power Bi or Power Query an assetSummary
