Apply today to the Contract Fine Arts Instructor position with the City of Burnaby.Successful applicants must have a degree or diploma in Visual Arts along with a strong background and related teaching experience with a variety of age groups and in a variety of contexts. The ideal candidate has prior visual arts instruction experience with various age groups and a focus on children, has great communication and customer service skills and is quick to respond when faced with challenging circumstances. Preferred candidates will have printmaking experience, classroom management experience, be able to create a positive and encouraging learning environment and will be friendly and motivating with students. Current Emergency First Aid & CPR C are required.
