Salary starting at £34,602, a shift allowance of £431.24 per month pro rata, 10% bonus potential, 25 days annual leave, and a company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates

North West Super Hub, Warrington, WA5 3UYAbout the roleReporting to the Shift Flow Manager of the North West Super Hub, you will:

  • Manage the automated parcel sorting system performance via SCADA, CCTV, and warehouse management systems, and provide accurate reporting to resolver groups and the senior leadership team.
  • Make timely business critical decisions based upon the data feeding into the flow room, ensuring bottlenecks and single points of failures are adequately managed.
  • Ensure all mail types are processed on time and instruct and influence managers within the operation with their holistic view of the site.
  • Design, maintain, and review sort plans through warehouse management systems, system and flow room SOPs, and SCADA data to identify faults and requesting preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Works alongside and prioritise the engineering team’s workload to rectify faults and blockages and ensure assets are available for planned preventative maintenance.
  • Manage vehicle flow through the yard management system to maximise efficiency.

About YouTo be truly successful in this role, you’ll possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

  • Experience of working in a flow or control room environment in an automated processing facility with SCADA and warehouse management systems experience.
  • Strong data analytic skills and experience of designing and maintaining system and flow or control room processes.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft suite skills, and the ability to translate technical information to a wide audience.
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement principles and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced automated environment.
  • Adaptable and receptive to new ideas and processes, and willing to adjust to changing demands and circumstances.
  • Skilled at identifying solutions to problems, and able to utilise the expertise, skills, and experience of others as appropriate.

Shift PatternA 2-week alternating rotation:

  • 06:00 – 18:00 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • 06:00 – 18:00 Wednesday & Thursday
  • 18:00 – 06:00 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • 18:00 – 06:00 Wednesday & Thursday
