POSITION SUMMARY

At Delta Hotels by Marriott Huntingdon we are seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team in a bustling Bar and Restaurant. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• • Assist in food preparation and presentation
• • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
• • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patrons with their orders
• • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience
• • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
• • Support kitchen staff with various tasks as needed

Qualifications

• • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous
• • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management
• • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
• • Willingness to learn and help out in various kitchen duties
• • Culinary qualifications or training would be beneficial

40 Hours per week / £11.57ph

Working hours are on a shift basis – 5.30am – 2.00pm / 7.00am – 3.30pm / 12.00pm – 8.30pm/ 3.00pm – 11.30pm / 5.00pm – 01.30am

F&B Service Experts will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces), managing the menu (read and visually verify information), and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for F&B Service Experts – to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.
