Foodbank Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, compassionate individual with a passion for social justice to make a real difference in our local community. Reporting to the Trustee Board, this role will be responsible for the overall management of the Faringdon Foodbank. Leading our volunteer team to provide emergency food to those in crisis, as well as managing the relationship with our food donors and partner organisations.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and operational management of the Foodbank
• Manage volunteers with empathy and professionalism
• Oversee budgeting, fundraising, and partnership development

• Good communication and management skills
• Financial and fundraising acumen
• A collaborative and values-led approach
• Passion for supporting people in crisis and tackling poverty

• An affinity with the beliefs of the Christian faith
