Forklift Utility Operator

A company that prints images on poly film to be made into bags for different fruits and vegetables you can find in your local grocery stores is looking to add a Forklift Utility Operator to their team.

This is a full-time temp-to-hire position that will join a union upon conversion. It’s
a great opportunity to gain work experience, get your foot in the door

?Forklift Utility Operator Responsibilities:

• Operating a sit-down forklift to move poly film rolls between departments
• Transferring ink drums from the storage facility to press machines
• Assist material handlers with movement of raw material and printed rolls between buildings
• General warehouse upkeep

You would be great in this position if you enjoy forklift operation in a hands-on environment.

Requirements
:

• 6 months forklift experience
• Ability to lift/move up to 50-75lbs
• 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Attentive and willing to learn about new processes
• Are able to follow food GMPs (General Manufacturing Practices), which include wearing a hair net

Schedule: 2pm-10:30pm

Pay: $19.10/Hour
