Role overview:As a founder’s associate, you will work directly with Sandrine, the CEO & founder, on driving critical business initiatives across all areas of the company. You will provide strategic support through deep market research, data analysis, and insight generation, influencing key decisions as we scale across Europe. This role is ideal for someone with entrepreneurial ambition who wants to immerse themselves in the intricacies of building and scaling a mission-driven business.You will act as a force multiplier for the CEO, managing high-priority projects and operational initiatives that will accelerate our mission to make pre-owned the first choice. This dynamic, hands-on role will give you deep exposure to the startup journey and prepare you for future leadership positions such as Chief of Staff, COO, or functional leadership roles.While this is a maternity cover position, there is potential for a permanent role based on performance and business needs.Location: Remote, but you should be based in London or able to travel easily for in-person meetings and events as needed.Position type: Mid-LevelCompensation: £45-60K p.a. plus stock options based on experienceDuration: 9-12 months, starting mid-December 2024 (maternity cover), with the possibility of obtaining a permanent role in the company, based on performance and business needs.What you’ll doCore responsibilities:Executive support: Serve as the right-hand to the CEO, assisting with forward planning, scheduling, meeting preparation, drafting communications, and internal reporting to ensure leadership stays focused and efficient. Anticipate the CEO’s needs and proactively support on high-level strategic initiatives. Draft communications and reports for external stakeholders and internal teams.Project management: Lead cross-functional projects across various areas, such as sales, marketing, and customer experience. Own and manage Vinterior’s promotions & sales calendar, ensuring timely execution of campaigns aligned with business goals.Research & insights: Conduct deep market research and analyze industry trends, competitors, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities. Present insights that inform product development, marketing strategies, and business expansion.Data analysis: Gather and interpret data from different departments (sales, marketing, product, finance) to present actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Regularly report on key metrics and use data to guide decision-making.Deck building & strategic presentations: Create clear, data-driven pitch decks for investors, board meetings, and internal presentations, ensuring alignment with Vinterior’s strategic goals.Stakeholder management: Act as the liaison between the CEO, internal teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment across the business.OKR process management: Own the company’s OKR process from setting, monitoring, and execution to ensure teams stay aligned on top priorities. Ensure the OKRs are ambitious, executed well and reported on accurately.Ad hoc responsibilities:Competitive intelligence: Stay updated on the competitive landscape, providing comparative analysis to highlight areas for differentiation and improvement.HR support: Support HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, and team offsite planning.Fundraising support: Assist in preparing materials for fundraising rounds, such as investor decks and updates.
