This will be a hybrid role (office requirement of 3 days per week), where the selected candidate will lead a team of eight adjusters that handle claims nationally in the GCS space.Come join our team!What you will do:Build an environment for people to do their best workDevelop team members, not only in their current roles, but for future career aspirations, through coaching and mentoringSupport the goals and objectives of the GCS teamCollaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders including brokers, risk man­agers, the Large Loss Team, underwriting and business developmentAddress customer concerns using strong problem solving and interpersonal skillsLook for new and incremental ways to improve things every day for the customerBuild and sustain high performance cultureParticipate in special projects as the need arisesWhat you’ll bring:University degree/college diploma, CIP or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 7 years’ experience as a casualty claim adjuster combined with leadership experienceStrong understanding of CGL, D&O, TP PD and Auto Bodily Injury claimsAtlantic licensing and understanding of US claims are preferredDemonstrated strong leadership skillsAbility to develop and maintain a high level of team engagementExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWhat you’ll get:The salary band for this position ranges from $79,500 to $147,700.
