Royal Canin’s Digital Factory is key in achieving this strategy through the multiplicity of its practices: UX/UI, Development, Product Ownership, Market deployment, Architecture, Governance…While the team will develop new digitally enabled business models that will shape the future of Royal Canin and Eukanuba, they also support the transformation of our existing business models.In this Digital acceleration context, Royal Canin needs to reinforce its internal strengths with digital, user centric and data capabilities. Based in Aimargues, this job will sit in our Digital Factory, which mission are to:

• Develop our Service-driven and digital platforms supporting “Pet Health Guardians”
• Develop our key capabilities on Design Thinking, UX, Agile Management, Mobile/Web/Ecommerce development, Digital Platform deployment and Data-driven transformation.
• Leverage those capabilities to design and build our future Business Models
• Help in acquiring data and driving traffic to our owned assets, which will help transform data collected into digital performance metrics and business insights.
• Push from global to deploy@ scale and pull from local to global synergy

The Digital factory, as part of the Direct to Pet Owner organization, works in strong partnership with Marketing and sales team and Innovation team.Reporting to the Develop Factory Lead, we are hiring a Frontend Architect, who will define and drive the frontend technology strategy across the Digital Factory to support the organization ambitions.What are we looking for ?7 to 15 years’ experience in Frontend Development for digital environmentManagement of complex technical projects on an international level & in Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)Ability to work with different teams and various team dynamics to achieve challenging delivery objectivesLead of technical teams with external and internal actorsFast Learner, Influencing and negotiations skillsFluent in EnglishWhat will be your key responsibilities ?The role of Frontend Architect for Supervision Angular/React Developers entails leading, guiding, and supervising multiple development teams working on projects utilizing Node.js, Angular, and/or React technologies. The Frontend Architect plays a crucial role in designing and implementing robust and scalable technical solutions, ensuring the quality, performance, and consistency of the developed applications.As Frontend Architect, you will have to:Leadership:

• He/she can establish the software architecture of his/her project or steer it in a different direction, in alignment with the technical direction of the project.
• He/she oversees the quality of what is produced by his/her team.
• He/she communicates on technical matters, leveraging his/her expertise and contributing to the visibility of his/her team’s expertise.
• The Architect is the technical lead of the project. He/she ensures internal coordination between his teams and other teams involved in the project.
• He/she ensures the flow of information and validates, if necessary, the various technical actions to be taken.
• He/she can propose the right design based on functional and business challenges, and he advocates for his choices in front of the stakeholders.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor multiple development teams in designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions based on Angular, and/or React.
• System Architecture: Design and define the technical architecture of applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams, Delivery Leads, and PO to understand business requirements and define appropriate technical solutions.
• Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development conventions within the teams.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the development lifecycle.

Meetings :

• Synchronization with frontend lead devs of all product squads
• Technical retrospective: Once per sprint, exchange with the entire DEV team on technical improvements =

Deliverables are technical tickets to be included in sprints (optional guest), leads must document decisions with CRs * Back and Front Design Authority (weekly)

• Synchronization with front and back teams (sharing new topics, roadmaps, ..)
• Synchronization with DevOps
