Let’s grow together!Sourcing ManagerDepartment: Fuel SupplyLocation: Toronto (305 Milner Ave, Scarborough)Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time, On site (40 hours)THE ROLEThe Sourcing Manager serves as the primary sourcing contact for Canadian Business Units, managing both branded and unbranded fuel supply relationships. Key responsibilities include leading the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for Canadian fuel sourcing and supporting the development of sourcing strategies. This person will coordinate with business units to optimize product selection and origin, ensuring alignment with economic goals and will provide leadership with performance metrics, analysis, and reporting, contributing to overall financial and key result area targets.WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Act as lead sourcing contact for Canadian Business Units
  • Manage Canadian Branded and Unbranded supply relationships
  • Lead Canadian sourcing RFP process
  • Support and coordinate Canadian fuel sourcing strategy
  • Become subject matter expert in Canadian carbon compliance and tax regimes
  • Supports RFP implementation by communicating and distributing agreements
  • Work with the BU’s to determine optimum products and origins to maximize economic performance at the BU level (current and future products)
  • Coordinates fuels objectives with other department initiatives to optimize store performance
  • Collaborates with fuel suppliers and Fuel Accounting to ensure agreed terms are accurately reflected in documents and systems.
  • Provides transparency on success, failure, performance, and projections to leadership through metrics analysis and reporting.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing determined Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company Plan guidelines.

WHAT YOU’LL NEEDWe want you to join our team! Here’s what we’re looking for:Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Other combinations of job-related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted

Experience:

  • 4+ years of petroleum supply and marketing experience, including practical knowledge of various index-based pricing mechanisms.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders

Knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and networking skills.
  • Very strong analytical and financial awareness for modeling and analysis.
  • Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
