Join us.The Security and Privacy team of TikTok USDS is missioned to ensure that TikTok is the most trusted social and entertainment platform, through protecting the safety and security of the business, our people, and users, building public trust, and complying with government requirements.We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok USDS.Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:

Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)

Monday, June 23We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.Depending on the team that you’ll be considered for, you can expect to:
– develop threat intelligence libraries and conduct technical research,
– build risk mediation plans, support compliance programs and awareness campaigns,
– participate in program management – planning, execution, and monitoring of security programs and initiatives.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
– Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Cybersecurity Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, Information Systems, or related field.
– Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2025;
– Basic understanding of cybersecurity risks, principles and concepts.Preferred Qualifications
– Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after completion of the internships.
– Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security practices.
– Self-motivated, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.General Hire: If you see the “general hire” in the title of this position, it means that the position is for multiple departments.
