Turning aspiration into reality, Lumanity supports over 50 payer submissions across 20+ countries, launch readiness and commercialization of 80 brands and new indications, and numerous award-winning product campaigns every year.Responsibilities / Position overviewWe are currently hiring a Global ESG Manager into the business, a fantastic opportunity to have a truly positive impact within the team, business and for our clients. The purpose of this role is to embed Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) into all aspects of Lumanity, making it integral. Responsibilities include collating material for Ecovadis, CDP, and similar accreditations, as well as setting and maintaining SBTs (science based targets). You will define, develop, and lead measurable programs to advance Lumanity’s ESG and Sustainability strategies globally, aligning with the company’s mission, vision, and values.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as Lumanity’s global lead for ESG and Sustainability, setting the company’s strategy and coordinating with Senior leaders, their teams, and external strategic partners to support execution against stated goals.
  • Lead on the timely and successful submission of client-based data requests (eg. Ecovadis) with a view to increasing our ratings over time
  • Identify key risks and opportunities across the ESG and Sustainability landscape for the organisation and drive mitigation/adoption strategies as applicable.
  • Define and lead the required processes of data identification, collection, SBTs setting and impact evaluation across the organisation and in pursuit of the company’s annual ESG report and related disclosures and policies; external reporting and client MSA requirements.
  • Measure the impact of existing data gathering solutions and interventions and demonstrate effective cost/ benefit analysis for further investment in ESG initiatives.
  • Manage a network of sustainability community champions, appropriately leveraging their expertise and commitment to grow programming locally and globally.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ hands on experience in collating ESG material and executing at a global level (or equivalent within professional services or consulting firm environment with a broad span of control).
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience in the ESG, and /or Sustainability sectors desirable.
  • Knowledge of science-based targets and environmental sustainability reporting frameworks and standards (e.g., Ecovardis, SBTi, TCFD, CDP), including demonstrated ability to design and manage global ESG reporting and programs.
  • Significant experience in being an active member of industry, customer, or partner level boards/committees.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading cross-functional, global teams to develop and maintain strategies and associated programs/initiatives.
  • A strong mix of strategic and operational experience, with an ability to problem-solve and execute quickly when situation demands it.
  • Confidence in educating, advising, and influencing C-suite level executives on all aspects of ESG and Sustainability.
  • Pragmatic thinking about improving sustainability practices and skill in developing cost/benefit analyses of the impact of corporate sustainability decisions.
