This is an exciting time to join the Marketing & Growth team as our transformation matures and new opportunities come to fruition.What you’ll be doing:The WPP Marketing and Growth teams are responsible for enabling agency growth across all markets and agencies (opco’s). To do this, the team undertakes a wide variety of activity to sharpen our proposition, improve our process, find and convert clients though marketing, partnerships and of course pitching.The role focusses on WPP’s top global markets across EMEA, APAC, US and LATAM. Reporting to the Associate Director, Marketing & Growth your responsibilities will include:New Business

  • Actively facilitate and support new business pitches across multiple opco teams within the region.
  • Create and own timelines, deliverables, and diary invites, in conjunction with the M&G team, both from a WPP M&G team and opco’s.
  • Identify and source data for RFI’s and RFP’s, ensuring a high level of accuracy, and maintain delivery timelines.
  • Track pitches that we are connected with to understand where they are in process in order to spot opportunities for WPP to elevate response.
  • Be a conduit to WPP new business creative/design and production resource to ensure we can access the talent we need, when we need it to elevate pitch outputs.

Marketing

  • Support and implement WPP’s internal and external marketing strategy in key markets across global top markets.
  • Champion WPP’s asset library by sharing the correct documents across the network.
  • Build awareness and rollout our global M&G assets on Inside WPP in the region and globally.
  • Facilitate monthly knowledge sharing with agency growth and marketing leaders in the UK, US, EMEA and APAC to drive cross agency collaboration
  • For the EMEA Marketing and Growth community: schedule speakers, create agendas, manage distribution lists and send out communications to the community.

Operations

  • Manage and drive the team status report, and facilitate meetings and follow ups as needed.
  • Manage global pipeline tracking including.
  • Weekly data pulls, working with agency teams to track new business opportunities, wins and losses
  • Work with WPP Leads to make sure data in the new business pipeline remains accurate and up to date

What you’ll need:

  • Relevant experience in marketing, growth and brand building
  • Skills to create simple and compelling communications, written and verbal
  • Comfortable working in matrixed environments and adept at stakeholder management
  • Proven ability to take initiative and think and plan ahead
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
