It’s not just a question; it’s an invitation to new opportunities to challenge yourself and exceed own goals.We are currently offering a temporary role for a Global Payroll Business Analyst on a full-time fixed-term contract until the end of 2026.The Role: Global Payroll Business AnalystAs the Global Payroll Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting global payroll operations and processes across various regions. As a member of the Global Payroll Team, you will manage all aspects of payroll functions to ensure accuracy, consistency, standardization, and compliance with SOX controls. You will also ensure that the global payroll team meets required metrics and internal management reporting requirements, working closely with payroll vendors and multiple internal functions.Key ResponsibilitiesThis role offers you the opportunity to lead key activities and advance your career. Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Strategic Initiatives: Coordinate and project manage strategic payroll initiatives and projects across the global payroll organization, including global mobility, shares, and benefits improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and gather payroll improvements, eliminating or enhancing manual and non-essential processes through technology to simplify and streamline operations.
  • Data Security: Manage internal system accesses in alignment with data security principles.
  • Issue Resolution: Support the resolution of identified issues and challenges, providing clear root cause analysis, guidance, and training to the payroll team.
  • Documentation: Assist the global payroll team in maintaining regular country documentation updates and monitor adherence to the approval process.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training for annual cycle planning preparation, quarterly BCP testing, global employee communications, and help guides.
  • Performance Metrics: Support improvements in case management and performance dashboard metric delivery.
  • Compliance Checks: Perform monthly spot checks of payroll control tools for SOX countries and five sample countries, capturing analysis and remediation evidence to ensure issues are corrected.
  • Dashboard Monitoring: Monitor the performance dashboard monthly to ensure accurate data reflection per country and resolve any identified issues.
  • Vendor Management: Support vendor performance management, including cost management and performance against SLA/KPIs.

Plus, you’ll be part of a global team and work in a very nice and friendly environment, collaborating with colleagues from around the world.What are we looking for?Education: A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in international payroll, including processing payroll, supervising teams, and exposure to payroll projects.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment and Shared Services, with proven experience in International Payroll.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of business process improvement with the ability to produce high-quality outputs.
  • Proven work experience or subject matter knowledge in payroll and related systems (e.g., Workday, SAP).
  • Strong background in analysis and critical evaluation of information from multiple sources.
  • Ability to document information in a format understandable by both business and technology teams.
  • Consulting-type skillset/mindset with strong influencing, relationship-building, communication, collaboration, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to host meetings and present new initiatives to the team
  • Experience managing teams remotely.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving.
  • Confidence to ask questions and seek further guidance when needed.
  • Ability to prioritize a complex workload with conflicting deadlines and an understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • Positive, focused, and enthusiastic attitude.

Other requirements

  • Location: This is an UK based position; you should be UK based with commuting distance to London.
  • Languages: Hight proficiency in English is required; other languages such as Polish, Spanish, German, French or Japanese are beneficial but not essential.
