We are open other location if you believe your profile is a perfect fit, please check with us possibility in other EU countries in your cover letter.Job keys items – Role:As Global Senior Packaging Machine Engineer you will be part of the Global Technology group, composed of a select team of technology engineers who are leading individual equipment focused technology platforms.In collaboration with various internal and external partners, you will be actively driving activities around end-of-line packaging and defining our future standards.Your field of action will range from optimizing existing unit operations to defining new standards for highest efficiency lines with latest safety, ergonomy and change-over performance, as well as striving for zero plastic-waste solutions.This position report to Global Packaging engineer lead.Mission – Keys responsibilities:

  • Own and drive global standardization and best practices for End-of-Line packaging. Lead smart automation roadmap for manual lines.
  • Technology scouting and identification of strategic equipment suppliers in collaboration with Purchasing.
  • Provides URS for new line installations and actively participates in Capex projects.
  • Analyzing data and researching to improve the packaging process and implementing relevant solutions
  • Leverage innovative technical solutions (i.e. robots) to drive cost & ergonomic improvements.
  • Develop and implement standards to ensure integrated product integrity & traceability.
  • Lead development for flexible use of formats and enabling alternative packaging solutions “ zero plastic waste”
  • Create and lead Packaging community of practice across the cross-functional, cross-regional teams
  • Ensure end-to-end leadership to evaluate business attractiveness and to rally stakeholder network to obtain approval..;

Qualification et Experience :

  • Master degree or equivalent in packaging or mechanical engineering.
  • + 5-10 years of experience in FMCG, Food or Fragrance & Flavors industry.
  • Strong Know-how in Continuous Improvement, Lean principles (SMED, AM/PM, Hygienic Design, Ergonomic) as well as machine safety.
  • Know-how in key packaging solutions and materials.
  • Proven experience in technology development & implementation – focus on end-of-line packaging equipment.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; Leadership skills with ability to build relationship in international, cross-functional and remote set-up.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
