This a great chance for an ambitious, newly qualified graduate, looking for an employer who can help you to shine.As a Technical Sales Associate, you will be joining the Life Science Solutions dynamic and hard-working sales team.As the Inside Sales Associate you will support the field Account management team to sell Agilent Technologies products, solutions and services. This will include chromatography (LC, GC, GC/MS, HPLC) and spectroscopy (Atomic and Molecular) instrumentation, in an assigned territory primarily through outbound and inbound telephone sales activities.Responsibilities include but not limitedIn this position, your daily tasks will include:

  • Working closely with designated Account Managers on your territory
  • Identifying sales opportunity with both new clients (developing the business) and existing ones (up-sell/cross-sell)
  • Interpreting customers’ needs and building long lasting partnerships with them
  • Supporting and coordinating the whole sales cycle: from the pre-sales phases to ensuring a smooth delivery at the end (installation, set up…)
  • Periodically visit and complete on site sales activities for customer accounts
  • Helping with administrative tasks (quote preparation, tender responses, back office duties, order booking, customer database management…)
  • Handle complex and technical discussions with customers
  • You will handle your own sales funnel using your own initiative to identify business opportunities by taking a creative approach.
  • This role will also require supporting sale management to forecast and monitor the sales business using professional sales tool
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders every day

  • have a university degree within the science field — e.g. chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or similar
  • have relevant experience in analytical techniques (Chromatography; LC, GC, MS or Spectroscopy) in a similar position or as an end user.
  • Commercial/retail experience an advantage to bring to the role
  • a strong desire to learn and expand your technical and soft skills that will ultimately drive your success.
  • ability to work alone and also with being a team member of project teams
  • possess a proactive and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is essential
  • the ability to coordinate and prioritise your workload efficiently
  • A clean full drivers license
