• Perform regular landscaping and gardening tasks, including planting, pruning, mowing, and trimming to ensure the exterior property remains aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained.
• Clear snow and ice from walkways, driveways, and parking lots to ensure safe access and prevent hazards.
• Maintain parking lot cleanliness and condition, including debris removal and addressing minor repairs as needed.
• Relocate and dispose of various items as required, ensuring compliance with proper disposal procedures and regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of the exterior property to identify and address maintenance needs or potential issues.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
• Perform all duties in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations, ensuring high standards of quality and professionalism.
• Other duties as assigned

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Groundskeeper:

• Completion of high school education or equivalent.
• Demonstrated skills and competence through previous hands-on experience in grounds maintenance.
• Established mechanical abilities.
• One to four years of similar work experience preferred, or completion of vocational training relevant to the job.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders and skid steers preferred.
• Fundamental mechanical skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools, as well as minor testing equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, demonstrating strong customer service skills.
• Experience operating ground maintenance equipment, snow removal machinery, and related vehicles.
• Experience in painting, including preparation of surfaces as needed.
• Basic skills in minor building repairs and maintenance.
