This person will lead the brand and communications development and execution across Clothing (where the predominant own brand is F&F).The key focus areas are around improving the customer perception for Clothing, developing customer-led strategies to drive new customer growth, and contributing to the long-term vision for this business area.You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and landing clothing own brands and propositions, across the 6Ps, using customer insight and finance data to fuel them. This will involve close and effective partnership with multiple teams (including Buying, Merchandising and the broader Marketing teams)
  • Crafting and implementing effective and award-winning marketing communications, partnering with multiple agencies and marketing teams to deliver with some ‘end to end’ accountabilities (including briefing, ATL creative development and effective media management and delivery)
  • Partnering with the central marketing teams to deliver personalisation and CRM plans that are relevant and timely for the Clothing consumer
  • Developing and landing brand guidelines, some aspects you will own with your team and others you will need to partner with other teams to land
  • Leading a team of marketing professionals with expertise in brand, proposition, communications and media, supporting their development and growing their technical skills and commercial views
  • Ensuring clear and effective brand translation across all touchpoints including online, collaborating with the relevant teams (Online business team, Online marketing teams etc) to make happen
  • Collaborating with marketing channel teams (including PR and email)
  • Forecasting, tracking and owning budget, improving value for money & ROI
  • Driving ongoing processes improvements to make work and execution simpler

You will need:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership position within Brand and Marketing at a retail or consumer-facing brand
  • Experience working on large budgets and Marketing plans and developing fully integrated communications
  • An ability to inspire teams and people with extensive line management experience
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • A passion for creating excellent brand and advertising communications
  • A creative, curious, and thinking mind
  • The ability to translate insight into action at pace
  • Experience leading the creative development process and handling multiple creative agencies
  • Excellent communications skills
  • A collaborative approach to working with agencies and internal partners
  • The ability and energy to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
