This is a brand-new role, reporting to the Commercial Director. The person will play the lead role within an expanded Commercial Planning and Operations Department. The main purpose of the role is to lead a department that provides material support to both the Partnership Sales and Partner Servicing departments. This department will design, develop and deliver efficient and consistent processes that better enables those functions with the tools and information they need to generate revenue from new partnerships, drive renewed or incremental revenue from existing partners and deliver and demonstrate value to existing partnersMain AccountabilitiesBuild and lead an expanded Commercial Planning and Operations Department in order to centralise a number of enabling services to create more effective and efficient partnership sales and servicing processes including:

  • Support the sales team and sales process, including joining sales meetings and pitches and co-ordination of the research & insight and design team.
  • Manage the roll-out of a new partnership sales and inventory management platform.
  • Undertake inventory audits to define assets, quantities, delivery costs and pricing.
  • New partnership asset development including ideation, identification and design.
  • Creation of management dashboards and reporting processes.
  • Lead the internal approval process including working closely with legal colleagues.
  • Support the operational delivery of various partnership rights including player appearances and partner events and activations.
  • Manage an existing team of two direct reports with scope to grow the team in the future
  • Support the Commercial Director in assessing the feasibility of international tours and friendly matches
