We are looking for a Head of Engineering to join our client in Bradford.Head of Engineering
Bradford
Monday to Friday 38.25hrs per week
£55,000 to £65,000We are looking for a Head of Engineering to join our client in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a state of the art facility. This role is full time I the office, however after induction there will be an option to work from home one day per weekWhat you will receive

What will the Head of Engineering be doing?This list is not exhaustive, an a full in-depth job description will be provided upon discussion.

• Act as technical lead for the company
• Lead engineering team in day to day tasks
• Ensure that all technical and estimating documentation is consistent, relevant, and reliable.
• Manage technical compliance within the company.
• Co-ordinate the daily workload of the design team and multiproduct enquiries.
• Mentoring, developing, and managing the design team with an emphasis on personal development, positivity, and employee engagement.
• Overseeing the day-to-day work completed by the team including specifications, designs and BOMs.
• Presenting to other teams and providing updates on new products to increase the knowledge base of peers, including external CPDs.
• Providing technical training to individuals and teams.
• Improving, working to, and overseeing the ISO9001 design technical process.

What we are looking for in the Head of Engineering?

• Experience of product development/improvement
• Strong knowledge and background in air handling units/process air conditioning or acoustic is essential
• Experience in a fast moving environment
• Minimum degree level in Engineering or equivalent experience (7+ years)
