ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Director, Public Sector the successful candidate will be an experienced senior commercial leader who can shape strategy, motivate teams and deliver on Iron Mountain’s significant growth ambitions within the UK, Healthcare.

The role will focus on developing the strategy, executing sector plans, building a high performing culture and maximizing significant growth opportunities for Iron Mountain. Experience in managing and coaching sales teams and working collaboratively with cross functional teams to solve our Healthcare customers biggest challenges.

Objectives for the role would include:

  • To effectively lead, performance manage and develop a high performing Account Management and Business Development teams, including support functions.

  • Responsible for executing strategy including customer segmentation and targeting, customer engagement and service development. Identifying specific market trends and establishing methods of creating value from these.

  • To promote integrated cross-selling of Iron Mountain growing service capability. Solutions include: Records and Information Management (RIM), Information Governance (IG), Digital Solutions & IT Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM)

  • To leverage internal and partner resources to develop the financial health of the vertical and deals. (E.g. Pre-Sales, IT, HR, Finance)

  • To become an industry expert and maintain a high level of knowledge of the sector and to advise on best practice

  • Assist the team in generating and qualifying growth prospects to ensure the ‘pipeline’ fulfills the agreed business plan for any given financial year

  • Accountable for all new business revenue growth

  • Exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual team targets

  • Enforce and observe the ‘Minimum Sales Standards’, CRM practices and Sales Plans for growth

  • Develop and maintain quality relationships with existing and prospective customers

  • Facilitate change by encouraging the sales team to seek opportunities for different and innovative solutions to address issues within customer programmes.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have multiple years of leadership in UK Public Sector, including:

  • Proven in managing, coaching, motivating and developing sales teams

  • Deep Healthcare sector knowledge

  • Background in records management, digital and data services, document or business process outsourcing ideal.

  • Highly networked and connected

  • Understanding of policy, frameworks and buying behaviors

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Creative and customer outcome focussed
