As Data Analytics Solution Architect, you will enable organisations to leverage on their data to drive strategic business outcomes and gain competitive edge in their industry through architecting data solutions that are scalable, efficient and aligned with business needs.

Solution Design & Architecture:

• Design scalable, efficient, and cost-effective data analytics solutions, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Define data architectures that leverage native cloud and on-premises technologies to meet business needs.
• Define and enforce best practices for data modelling, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks.

Data Integration & Management:

• Lead the design of data integration strategies, including ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
• Oversee the development of data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide actionable insights to business users.
• Ensure seamless integration of various data sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) into centralized analytics platforms.

Technology & Tools Expertise:

• Stay up to date with the latest data analytics trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for data storage, analytics, and visualization.

Performance Optimization:

• Continuously monitor and improve the performance and scalability of data solutions.
• Implement best practices for data storage, processing, and querying to ensure high-performance and low-latency analytics.

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure that data solutions adhere to security protocols, privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
• Implement best practices for data protection, access control, and data encryption.

Leadership and Communication:

• Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration of analytics solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for solution design and data management.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business terms for effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

 

Qualities We Value 

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale analytics solutions.
• Proficient in data integration, ETL processes, and designing data warehouses, data lake, data platforms.
• Strong working knowledge in data engineering, data governance, master data management, data quality and business intelligence.
• Deep understanding of technical aspects of projects to identify risks, propose immediate solutions and provide guidance for the system solution.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their analytics tools.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and integration is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
