London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post of Research Fellow in Health Economics to support a range of evaluation and research projects across the College of Health and Life Sciences.The College includes the School of Applied and Health Sciences, the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the School of Allied Health and Community Health.The candidate will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team to help build capacity across the University in the delivery of economic evaluation design and analysis. The post holder will collaborate with academics to leverage opportunities, funding and business connections needed to deliver LSBU’s ambitions for research, innovation and enterprise. Current work and partnerships are focusing on tackling health, social care, technological, economic, and environmental challenges; delivering real-world outcomes and solutions that have a tangible impact.This position offers the successful candidate with the opportunity to join a team of staff who support the coordination and development of large, interdisciplinary research and innovation proposals, working across Schools and supporting the Principal Investigators. The postholder will support funding opportunities that fit with the University’s identified research themes, and initiate, develop, and maintain excellent relationships with external funding bodies and stakeholders.About You:
The fellow will be expected to have the following skills/experience:
- Experience of research, innovation and enterprise activity.
- Experience of working with a broad range of research and innovation funding schemes, and in supporting cross-institutional research and innovation services.
- Experience of pre and post award funding and support.
- Experience of preparing and submitting ethics applications.
The candidate will be degree educated with a minimum of a Masters in Health Economics. Candidates with a Masters (Health Economics) and a PhD/and a clinical background would also be encouraged to apply.Benefits and How to Apply:
