As an Account Manager in our UK Public Sector Healthcare Team, you will work with a dedicated set of accounts, supporting customers to use AWS services to deliver their healthcare goals.
On a daily basis, you will empower your customers to solve challenges and attain their business, operational and innovation goals.
Ideally, you possess both a healthcare and technical background that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.

Key job responsibilities
Promote AWS services in a defined territory or industry vertical
Support development and execution of comprehensive account/territory plans
Facilitate customer adoption of AWS services
Maintain a robust projects pipeline and consistently meet or exceed quota
Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption of AWS services
Contribute to a positive customer experience through effective communication and relationship-building
A day in the life
There is no single ‘day in the life’ of a healthcare account manager. You will be responsible for supporting the management of a portfolio of customers at different levels of cloud maturity and with different problems. It is a dynamic and fast paced environment, which means no two days will be the same!

Basic Qualifications
2-3 years public sector experience
Experience in a technology sales environment with evidence of quota attainment
Degree educated or equivalent military or professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
Creative and entrepreneurial approach to solving customers’ problems
Experience in working with the NHS or other health systems, ideally in technology based solutions
Solid technical background and understanding of IT infrastructure and the benefit of cloud technologies
