The post-holder will work with a range of services and healthcare professionals across the interface of acute and primary care. This post provides an opportunity to develop new knowledge and skills within a large diverse team.Urgent Care Services, of which Acute Medicine Unit is part of, sits within the Medicine Directorate in NHS Tayside. The Acute Medicine Unit comprises of Acute Medical Assessment, Ambulatory Assessment and Short Stay Medicine.Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate that you are an effective communicator who works well within a team. You must have the ability and commitment to work as part of a team delivering high standards of patient care and continue to improve patient experience.You should be educated to SVQII level and are required to achieve SVQIII or equivalent. You should be able to evidence excellent interpersonal skills and have experience as a Health Care Support Worker within an in-patient hospital setting. You will be expected to have excellent working knowledge of the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employmentThis is a chance to fully develop and further enhance skills and knowledge you may already possess.Full- time hours preferred but various hours available.
