Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers for a range of clients across Midlothian and East Lothian.About the Role:We offer a variety of driving positions, including:

• Shunting, deliveries, and collections
• A mix of long-distance and local routes, which may involve multi-drop or site-to-site deliveries
• Deliveries to both commercial and residential properties
• Some manual handling at delivery points, so a level of comfort with lifting is required

Industries We Work With:Our clients operate across a range of sectors, including:

• Plumbing supplies
• Timber merchants
• Commercial goods
• Waste management (skips/bins)
• Cash & Carry services
• Pallet networks

Requirements:Candidates must have the following:

• A valid Category C license
• A CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous commercial driving experience
• No more than 9 points on their license (note: DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements are not accepted due to insurance requirements)

• Weekly pay
• Holiday accrual with each shift
• A guaranteed minimum of 8 hours pay per day

Pay Rates (PAYE with holidays accrued):

• Starting from £13.50 per hour, up to £17.99 per hour, depending on client, shift, and start time.
