HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted In The Midlands!***£250 Welcome Bonus Available – T&C Applied***Logistics People are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers/HGV Drivers/LGV Class 1 Drivers/LGV Drivers/Class 1 Drivers working on a Full time Equivalent (FTE) basis at our Eddie Stobart depot’s.Our customer is one of the biggest names within the HGV industry, with the latest vehicles on the market, which means you get the best HGV experience and a top range vehicle to work with.***6 Months Of HGV Class 1 Driving Experience Required***Locations include:

• Rugby, CV23 0AE
• Crick, NN6 7GY
• Leicester, LE4 1BS

Working Hours:Days and Night Shifts Available – Various Start Times

• Monday – Friday
• Tuesday – Saturday
• Sunday – Thursday
• Saturday – Wednesday
• Friday – Tuesday

Pay Rate:All rates include Holiday Pay

• Monday – Friday Days: £16.26 P/hr
• Monday – Friday Nights: £17.38 P/hr
• Saturday – Sunday Days: £20.18 P/hr
• Saturday – Sunday Nights: £20.74 P/hr

About this role:

• Ambient work
• Trunking
• General haulage
• Manual handling
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

About You:

• You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication skills
