Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.This role is in our Plant & Fleet department, Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs. Offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.Want to come and be a part of it?What will you be doing?You’ll handle all rental requests efficiently through the Plant & Fleet Rental mailbox. Using management software like InspHire, Jaama Key2, and Oracle to keep things running smoothly.You’ll collaborate with workshops to make the best use of M Group Assets across all locations before reaching out to external suppliers.Also, you’ll work closely with our supply chain partners to fulfil requests when items aren’t available internally.You’ll oversee the external rental process to ensure suppliers deliver and collect Plant or Fleet within agreed timelines, while keeping our databases up-to-date and accurate.Regularly review external hire reports and swap out rented Plant or Fleet for available internal assets wherever possible.We’ll expect you to stay on top of live hire reports, continuously reconciling data to maintain accuracy across all management software.You’ll develop expertise in every aspect of rental management and general administration.What you’ll bring

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to relate to and work with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
• Administrative or Customer Service experience
• Proven IT Skills with experience of Microsoft Office.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Relevant experience within either the Plant or Fleet Industry in a similar role

£36000 – 40000 per year
