We’re a high energy business so to keep pace with the constantly increasing volume of customers, you’ll need to be at the top of your game. You’ll be responsible for running a team of experienced Hire Controllers / Customer Service Representatives, ensuring daily operations are kept running smoothly.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Hire Desk Manager, Senior Hire Controller, Hire Manager – Construction Equipment, Plant Hire, Equipment HireThis is your chance to make your mark as you’ll:
· Create and Implement KPI’s to keep everyone on track.
· Manage customer enquiries to ensure they get the best possible service.
· Coordinating equipment so that everything is in the right place at the right time.
· Up skill the team to make sure everyone is always providing outstanding customer service.You will be involved in developing better processes to make the whole hiring experience more efficient.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Hire Desk Manager, Senior Hire Controller, Hire Manager – Construction Equipment, Plant Hire, Equipment HireYou will have managed a Hire Desk team before from across any of the following markets:
· Plant, Tool, Powered Access, Lifting, Crane.
· Welfare, Generators, Forklifts.
· HGV, Agricultural Equipment, Attachments or Equipment Hire.Although, you might have managed Trade Desks / Hire Desks within the Builders Merchants, Timber or Plumbing Merchants, etc.Whatever your background you’ll be able to demonstrate:
· A proven track record of team leadership.
· The ability to take ownership of projects and tasks.
· Excellent communication skills.
