If so, read on!EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOWDeveloper Services are looking for our newest Hire Service Specialist to join the team and deliver a high-quality service to all areas of the business wishing to hire equipment. In this high-profile role, you will drive efficiencies and operational effectiveness by actively managing the short, medium, and long-term hires across the business, as well as leading the management of the Loan Fleet and shared assets.It will be key for you to liaise with customers & suppliers to ensure relationships are maintained, while leading on process improvements. You will be charged with the identifying and prioritising of hiring long term hire or swapping hired with purchased equipment. As a senior member of the hire team, you’ll also look to achieve key savings targets through the Hire Service Cost Avoidance on Loan Fleet & Hire Service savings.Some of the key accountabilities of the role are:-

  • Manage the Hire Service Loan Fleet which includes Pumps, Generators, Aerators & Microscreen. Ensuring the fleet is well maintained, serviced, and ideally located for our customer’s needs.
  • Process requests for hire equipment and work with business areas to ensure compliance
  • Build credibility through acting as a subject matter expert and single point of contact for Loan Fleet assets
  • Produce accurate performance data to ensure savings targets are met
  • Work with the Hire Service Manager to identify continuous improvement activities for Hire Service

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLEThe right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity and a caring attitude we want to talk to you, too.We’ll be looking for you to have a history of working in the pump, tool, plant or wider hire industry and a proven track record in managing mobile assets.
