Diagnostic Treatment Registered NurseSeeking a skilled Registered Nurse to impact one of the top community-based healthcare and services facilities in the New York City Area.Offering internal growth, a great work life balance schedule, and competitive pay.Location: Bronx, NYScheduleMonday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm (NO weekends/NO nights)Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse ensures quality and safe delivery of nursing services in the Diagnostic & Treatment Center (DTC) and Day Health Center (DHC). This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating nursing care in the Medical Practice and DHC. Responsibilities include investigating and assisting in documenting and resolving customer issues and grievances, independently performing nursing procedures based on specific participant’s needs, evaluating and promoting a safe environment for participants, documenting all new medications in the participant’s electronic medical record, and assisting with the coordination and preparation of mail order prescriptions.Must Have

• NYS Licensed Registered Nurse
• 1 year of experience working with Geriatric patients
• IV Therapy experience
• Phlebotomy experience
• BLS Certification

Soft Skills

• Collaborates effectively with the Site Medical Director and interdisciplinary team
• Educates participants on services
• Responds to communications from vendors, participants, or providers
• Addresses site issues promptly
• Documenting and resolving customer issues
• Performing nursing procedures and assessments
• Documenting medications in electronic medical records
• Coordination of mail order prescriptions
