We prioritize creating a positive and enriching experience for both our residents and team members.Position OverviewAs a Hiring Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our team is fully staffed with the best talent, supporting all departments across our facility. Your primary responsibility will be managing the recruitment process, from identifying qualified candidates to collaborating with hiring managers for interviews and offers. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and skilled in fostering positive relationships with both potential employees and current staff members. You will work with our applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Process ManagementOversee all phases of the recruitment process for the facility, including job postings, screening, and interviews.Collaborate with department managers to draft detailed job descriptions and hire criteria.Implement efficient recruiting strategies including coordinating in-house events and to meet the staffing needs of the facility.Schedule and assist in interviews, ensuring hiring materials and questions are prepared.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.Collaboration & CommunicationWork with hiring managers and HR to determine salary, incentives, and other pertinent offer details.Conduct interviews and collaborate on candidate selection, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Represent The Grand Healthcare System at job fairs and recruiting events.Hiring & Onboarding SupportEnsure all necessary documentation for new hires is completed, including licensing verification and orientation preparation.Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork, providing clear instructions and support.Maintain an atmosphere of warmth and positivity throughout the hiring and onboarding process.Administrative & Compliance FunctionsUtilize the ATS to manage and track candidate progress, ensuring timely follow-up.Assist with the filing of reports and maintaining accurate documentation.Attend meetings and participate in ongoing education to stay up to date on recruitment best practices.Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.Must be a team player with a strong sense of collaboration and commitment to positive workplace culture.Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with staff, applicants, and department heads.Previous experience in recruitment or human resources is preferred, especially within the healthcare or skilled nursing industry.Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and general computer applications.Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.What We OfferCompetitive Salary: Base salary with rewarding bonus opportunities.Comprehensive Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and mileage reimbursement.Professional Growth: Opportunities for career advancement and continued development.Employee “Perks”: Various offers exclusively to Grand employees including discounts on travel.Innovative Training Programs: Ongoing training to enhance your skills and industry knowledge.Supportive Team: Work alongside a dedicated team that values collaboration and providing excellent care.How to ApplyIf you’re passionate about recruitment and helping us build an outstanding team, we’d love to hear from you!
