Please consider applying!Location: Atwater & other surrounding areasHours of Position: Flexible based on staff availability and client needsVariable Hours:Part-time/Full-time Days Evenings Sleep OvernightsCompensation:$18.00-$19.00/hour, based on experience $10.59/hour, base sleep pay rate between the hours of midnight and 6:00amDescription:The BRIDGES Counselor works one on one with adults that have disabilities by providing a variety of services such as:

• Independent living services
• Self-care
• Communication skills
• Community Living & Mobility
• Reduction /elimination of maladaptive behavior
• Sensory/motor development
• Socialization
• Learning, improving, and retaining independent living skills

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred
• OR an Associate’s Degree in a Social Services Discipline
• OR two years (4,174 hours) of supervised experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors as well as co-occurring mental disorders or neurocognitive disorder.
• A valid Driver’s License, clean MVR & auto insurance (You will be using your personal vehicle to transport clients)
• The ability to pass a MN DHS background check
• A working mobile device that can receive & send phone calls and capability of downloading application for documentation
• The ability to make independent decisions
• Reliability and flexibility are necessary for success in this position
