Overnight Medical TechnologistJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Overnight Medical Technologist to join our team. This role requires a New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license and professional experience in hematology. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading slides and performing manual differentials. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a flexible schedule and great benefits.Responsibilities

• Read slides and count different red and white blood cells.
• Perform quality control to ensure accuracy of results.
• Review and analyze software data.
• Validate any abnormalities found in slides.
• Conduct urinalysis microscopy.
• Communicate effectively about instrument status and any issues.
• Be proactive and willing to take initiative.

Essential Skills

• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.
• Professional experience in hematology.
• Proficiency in reading slides and performing manual differentials.
• Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with clinical laboratory testing.
• Knowledge of medical technology and hematology.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude.

Work EnvironmentEach shift typically includes 1-2 technologists and 3-4 lab aides.Overnight shifts:10:00 PM to 6:00 AM10:30 PM to 6:30 AM,11:00 PM to 7:00 AM11:30 PM to 7:30 AM12:00 AM to 8:00 AM1:00 AM to 9:00 AM.The schedule will most likely be Sunday through Thursday.Employees working overnight shifts receive a shift differential.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $99840.00 – $114400.00/yr.Full health & medical benefits-PTO4.25/hr shift differential on overnight shiftwill send benefits package to any candidates we bring through processWorkplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Elmont,NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $99840.00 – $114400.00/yr.Full health & medical benefits-
