Job Title: General Laborer – Floater Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Temp-to-HireWe are seeking a General Laborer – Floater for a Temp-to-Hire position with our client, a reputable irrigation pipe manufacturing company located in Harrisburg, OR. The General Laborer – Floater will play an essential role in supporting operations by assisting in various departments, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining production efficiency. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within the company!
As a General Laborer – Floater, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in different areas of the manufacturing process, including material handling, machine operation support, and quality control.
• Moving and staging raw materials, finished products, and supplies as needed.
• Performing general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Supporting machine operators by loading/unloading materials and monitoring equipment performance.
• Inspecting products for defects and reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Assisting with basic assembly tasks and ensuring components are properly prepared for further processing.
• Operating hand tools and basic machinery as required (training provided).
• Following all safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment (preferred but not required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in different departments and adapt to changing job duties.
• Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools (a plus).
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
