City IrvineState CaliforniaJob Location Irvine Regional Office (Derian)Position Type RegularPOSITION SUMMARYThe Hiring Specialist Staffing Support (Operations Support Specialist) is an integral member of the Operations Staff Services Team, a team that functions as a point of support for operations. The Operations Support Specialist will be accountable for a variety of tasks and projects which may include the corporate housing experience, the application review and approval process, bookkeeping support, and any other assignments needed for the betterment of our property operations. The Operations Support Specialist is also responsible for all administrative duties related to the operations support function in our customer relationship management (CRM) software. Through all assigned duties, tasks, and projects you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to residents and colleagues.This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours a week. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 10AM-3PM.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:Provide quality customer service experiences through all interactions with internal and external partnersWork on projects and programs related to operational support for the Essex portfolio of communitiesMaintain information library for property specific details, suggesting updates as necessaryExercise discretion as it relates to confidential resident, property and company informationCompliance with company standards as defined in the Human Resources Policy Manual, E-Way Processes and Procedures, and applicable laws, e.g., Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant, Local Building Codes, OSHA, and EEOCParticipate in the administration of our corporate housing program with duties including but not limited to:Responding within two hours for all incoming corporate housing requestsRespond to any corporate resident concerns and communication in accordance to policyManage corporate resident documents and additional paperwork as neededHandle all aspects of the prospect and resident journey for our corporate clientManage the application approval process for the corporate housing program while working collaboratively with our Sales TeamQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferredStrong communication skills and interpersonal skills, including phone and email etiquetteFriendly and energetic personality with genuine desire to provide outstanding customer serviceA minimum 3 years of customer service experience, with property management industry experience preferredGood organizational and time management skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentProficiency to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers, coworkers, and managementProficient understanding of the Microsoft suite, familiarity with CRM systems and practicesAbility to work Monday-Friday between 10:00 am and 3:00 pmRequirements to work onsite out of The Havens or corporate location 5-days per weekAll full-time regular associates are offered competitive salaries, experience career growth, and are eligible for benefit packages that include medical, dental, vision, paid parental leave, 401k employer match, excellence rewards, wellness programs, and much more. New hires generally start between $27.88 – $33.17 per hour. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.This role is also eligible to participate in Essex’s discretionary Annual Bonus program that is commensurate with the level of the position.
