Salary:

$80-100k

Overview :

This position operates and maintains microtome and tissue processing equipment to provide optimum quality slides and assists with quality management and inventory duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, standard working hours

Responsibilities:

• Organizing workload

• Accessioning specimens

• Tissue embedding, cutting, and staining

Qualifications:

• BS in Biology or related field

• 1+ years of histological work experience including FFPE tissue sectioning and frozen tissue sectioning

• Must be able to verbally demonstrate an understanding of basic histology principles
