We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team and oversee the housekeeping operations in our client’s facilities.Position Summary:The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for managing the housekeeping staff and ensuring that all rooms, public areas and other designated areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. This individual will be responsible for training and supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining inventory of supplies.Key Responsibilities:– Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring that they are meeting company standards for cleanliness and productivity– Assign tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are covered and tasks are completed in a timely manner– Inspect the office space, public areas, and facilities on a regular basis to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department– Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ordering new supplies as needed– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies– Conduct regular performance evaluations of housekeeping staff and provide feedback for improvement– Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new housekeeping staff as needed– Handle guest complaints or requests regarding housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner– Maintain records of housekeeping activities, such as cleaning schedules and employee schedules– Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations– Monitor and control expenses within the housekeeping department’s budget– Stay updated on industry trends, new cleaning techniques, and equipment, and implement best practices in the departmentQualifications:– Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality environment– Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures, health and safety regulations, and inventory management– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills– Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities– Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively– Proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsJoin Our Team:As a Housekeeping Supervisor at JPC By Samsic, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that values and supports employee growth and development.
