Summary You will serve as a Housing Manager (Inspector) of NAS KEY WEST. Responsibilities You will analyze instructions and directives from higher authorities to evaluate and implement into program policies. You will assemble facts, evaluate information, and draft reports to resolve housing problems. You will advise housing management on plan to ensure maintenance and repairs are scheduled and completed. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) conducting housing facility inspections and identifying deficiencies; 2) interpreting, explaining and applying technical requirements and specifications to quality problems encountered in such activities as audits, facility inspections, or investigations; and 3) preparing reports and point papers that include information relative to data collection, analysis and recommendation for action. Education In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Have successfully completed a master’s or equivalent graduate degree OR Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master’s degree. OR Have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled. OR Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
