Chick-Fil-A West Edmonton Mall is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team. The HR Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the human resources department by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with various HR initiatives.   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records for all employees
  • Process new hire paperwork, including conducting background checks and verifying employment eligibility
  • Assist with the onboarding process, including coordinating orientations and training sessions
  • Administer benefits programs, including enrollment and changes
  • Answer employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations and disciplinary actions
  • Coordinate and assist with employee events and recognition programs
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including conducting initial screenings and scheduling interviews
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department
  • Stay up-to-date with current HR trends and best practices
  • Perform additional work duties as assigned by operator/leadership to support business needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administration
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Position is in-person only
  • May be required to work occasional evening, weekend (Saturday)
  • Operational requirement in the restaurant with 10-20 hours per week being in operations helping to serve guests
