Human Resources (HR) Administrator

We are searching for a HR Administrator to join our Christchurch site!

The Curtiss-Wright HR team in the UK operate as a Shared Service across 3 Divisions, supporting around 500 employees. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person who is seeking a rewarding career in Human Resources. The successful candidate will join the HR team in our purpose-built facility next to Bournemouth Airport.

In this role, you will provide a variety of administrative support to our Human Resources Team in the areas of HRIS/compensation/benefits, onboarding, employee relations, organizational development and training.

Your Challenge:

  • Provide support to the HR team across all areas

  • Responder on HR Helpdesk

  • Maintain HR processes & procedures including updating Workday (HR Information System)

  • Manage employee changes in conjunction with the US-based HRIS Team

  • Support new hire, onboarding & leaver processes including screening (e.g. ITAR, BPSS and SC)

  • Assist with careers fairs and open days

  • HR reporting metrics

  • Ad hoc HR projects

  • Organise Company parties

What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 5 or above (must including Maths and English Language)

  • Strong IT skills especially MS Office Word and Excel.

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organization skills

  • Excellent customer service and people skills including strong communication skills

  • Time management skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Computer literate and competent user of Microsoft Packages (including Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

  • Available for occasional travel (mainly to other CW UK sites)

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a HR, customer service or admin role

  • Previous HR knowledge

  • Business, Economics, Psychology or Law qualifications preferable but not essential
