We listen to customers, claimants and our colleagues to help our continual learning and development.We are currently hiring a HR Advisor to join our team on a permanent position. Their main purpose would be to act as the first port of call for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, working in conjunction with the existing team to provide a knowledgeable, consistent and timely HR service to PFAS colleagues, Line Managers and Senior management.Main job duties:·Influence, support, coach and provide advice to managers in a full range if people management matter including the investigation and disciplinary process, performance management, absence and capability etc.·To work closely with various department, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.·Management of employee’s relations case work including investigations, disciplinary, grievances and appeal ensuring that conduct is always in line with company policy and risks to the business are minimised.·Manage absence cases including long term absence. Liaise with third party practitioners and occupations health to support employees back into work and provide guidance to managers on any adjustments or additional support that be required.·Proactively build and maintain strong, professional, and effective working relationships with line managers, employees and stakeholders.·Devise and implement strategies and initiatives to optimise colleague engagement & support managers to review engagement survey results, identify focus areas and create action plans.·Assist managers in implementing training plans for colleagues and create career pathways. Support the organisational design, change, acquisition, TUPE initiatives.·Ensure systems are kept update, handling employee queries in a timely manner and provide reporting on HR KPIs and analytics, to evaluate, recommend and support improvement plans.Essential qualifications & Training:·Experience as a HR Assistant for at least two years or experience in a similar role.·4 GCSE/O level passes A-C or equivalent, including English and Maths; (E)·CIPD Level 5 Qualified (or studying towards (D)Experience and knowledge:·Experience of working in a Human Resource Department (E)·Experience of using various Microsoft programmes and databases (E)·Possess good awareness of employment law (E)·Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive data (D)Skills and abilities:·Experience in employee relations, HR practices, and employment law interpretation.·Excellent communication, influencing skills, and ability to build relationships.·Works independently with minimal supervision, methodical, and detail oriented.Passion for high-performing service, continuous improvement, and self-development.·Comfortable with travel within assigned areas, works well under pressure, and challenges culture when needed.Ability to compile and interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner.Other informationSalary: £35,000 per annumLocation: HYBRID – OPUS PARK / HOMEJob Type: PERMANENT FULL TIMEHours: 40 per weekWorking Pattern: Monday to Friday 8.30 to 17.00Other benefits include:> Professional Development Opportunities> Employee Assistance Programme including free confidential counselling> High-street discounts> 25 days annual leave> Moving Day Leave> Membership of the Company pension scheme> Recruit a Friend bonus scheme – up to £1,500> Environmental Initiatives> Westfield Health Cash Plan> Free Eye Tests every 2 years> Free annual Flu-Vaccination> Upon completion of probation, the successful candidate will also be eligible for the company bonus scheme, allowing them to earn up to 10% of annual salary based on company and individual performance.Do you want to have a great impact and make a difference?
