This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career, gaining practical experience in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.The HR Graduate position sits in the HR Function and is part of the HR Operations Team reporting to the Head of HR Operations. The role provides a structured framework to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of HR activities across the HR functions.There will be a plan for rotational placement that provides experience across all operational areas within the HR function. This will support CIPD development and provide practical experience of life in an HR team.About the RoleLevel: Level 2Department: Human Resources:Location: SouthamptonContract type: PermanentNonregulatedKey Responsibilities:Rotational Placements: Gain experience in different HR areas such as recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, performance management and data and MI reporting.Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.Employee Onboarding: Help with the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary tasks and documentation is completed.HR Projects: Participate in HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies.Data Management: Maintain and update employee records and HR databases. Learn employee life-process and procedures and complete tasks through to completion, completing employment documentation as requiredEmployee Relations: Support the HR team in handling employee inquiries and resolving issues relating employee relation casesTraining and Development: Assist in organizing and delivering training sessions and workshopsMI & Reporting: support the MI team in producing HR data that relates to employment practises whilst gaining an insight into management information and how employee data support business information and strategiesThe rotation plan will be agreed in advance and will share the content and timeline of the areas of work that will be covered. You will work alongside the various HR teams where support and training will be provided to you. You will be encouraged to proactively get involved in all activities on a day-to-day basis, together with projects, this will provide you the opportunity to gain a wide range of understanding and practical experience of each area and will also enable you to work across the business with various stakeholders.The timeline may be flexed to support and align to your studies if required.About YouApplications from people with diverse backgrounds enables our inclusive organisation to thrive.
