  • Collaborate with the Senior and Middle Management Teams to develop and execute functional people agendas that align with our goals.
  • Lead Learning & Development initiatives, leveraging Sephora, LVMH, and bespoke programs to nurture a growth mindset and close skill gaps.
  • Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding and performance management to engagement, culture, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Ensure Sephora UK’s policies and procedures are current, accessible, and aligned with employment law to support decision-making across the business.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to define recruitment needs, ensuring talent remains a focal point in the business and that recruitment aligns with budget and benefits planning.

Engagement and Culture

  • Own the UK annual engagement plan, collaborating with the EME Central team on company-wide activation plans, driving effective communication and action planning based on engagement results.
  • Act as a coach and trusted advisor, empowering managers and employees to foster self-service, personal accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead Sephora UK’s employee communication platform, WeAreSephora, working with the Central team on platform maintenance and actively encouraging local engagement.

HR Systems and Payroll

  • Ensure the accuracy of all employee data in MSC and provide the payroll team with necessary information for seamless payroll processing.
  • Analyze HR data to inform data-driven decisions, ensuring data accuracy and timely monthly reporting to Central.
  • Collaborate with the HR Director and C&B Manager on all aspects of benefits and any ad hoc projects to support our people.

What You’ll BringYou’ll be the backbone of Sephora’s HR strategy in the UK, providing invaluable support to leaders and employees alike. With diverse experience across the HR spectrum, you’ll bring strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and people development.Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess:

  • Substantial experience in an HR Generalist, Manager, or Advisor role.
  • Proven experience advising senior colleagues on critical people matters, including employee relations, hiring, and talent management.
  • Expertise in HR specialisms such as engagement, recruitment, or C&B.
  • Retail experience is a plus, especially in dynamic, change-driven environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • A track record of ownership and delivering successful new initiatives.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to solve complex issues and make impactful recommendations.
  • Project management experience with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of the drivers of a P&L.
  • A flexible approach to managing workloads, thriving in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence decisions across levels and functions of an organization.
