Job description

Hobson Prior is seeking an HR Business Partner to support a key biotech company in London. The successful candidate will provide essential HR support to the Quality and Manufacturing teams, handling a wide range of HR duties throughout the employee lifecycle.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Responsibilities:

• Work with senior leaders and the HR team to ensure HR practices are consistent across the site.
• Offer professional HR advice to managers, ensuring policies and practices are followed.
• Support HR initiatives and processes with the management team.
• Manage monthly UK payroll, ensuring accurate data input and verification.
• Oversee talent acquisition for QA and Manufacturing roles, including agency interactions, interviewing, and hiring.
• Handle employee relations issues such as disciplinary meetings, terminations, investigations, and mediation.
• Ensure compliance with diversity and equal employment opportunity standards.
• Guide managers and employees through probation and performance management processes.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• CIPD accreditation or a post-graduate qualification in HR.
• Experience managing UK payroll, with knowledge of ADP.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law.
• Experience in HR at a managerial or business partner level, preferably in a Manufacturing or Biotech environment.
