Join an international HR team and facilitate the execution of business strategies through people and organisational development in one of our largest global markets. In this role, you will ensure that business goals, objectives and initiatives are supported through the execution of HR strategies, policies and procedures. You will also lead and further develop the HR capabilities of the local HR team.This is a fixed term position, maternity cover till the end of June, 2026.What You Can Expect
● Serve as an infl uential HR leader and strategic business partner for the Managing Director – Northwest Europe and HR Director – Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific with the ability to curate organisation insights and develop into a People and Organisation plan.
● In partnership with the Northwest Europe Leadership team, leads change confidently and embeds best practices whilst demonstrating a strong sense of business acumen.
● Provides data, insights, ideas, coaching and tools to enable leaders to motivate performance and maximise the talents, contributions and the results of their teams.
● Serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on a wide range of HR-related topics that include, organisational design (to include SG&A cost management), performance management, talent attraction and retention, learning and development, inclusion, employee engagement, total rewards and succession planning.
● Builds and maintains strong partnerships across the full People and Communications community in order to support the achievement of the Brown-Forman People & Culture vision and strategic priorities
● Partners with the divisional Workforce Planning & Recruiting team to effectively forecast, prepare for and meet the talent needs of the business.
● Drives high levels of employee engagement and supports Northwest Europe in building a #NothingBetterInTheMarket workplace.
● Leads employee relations investigations when appropriate, coordinating efforts with Legal, Compliance and Audit when necessary; provides recommendations for remediation if required.
● Manages, coaches and develops the local HR Business Partnership team.What You Bring to the Table
● Successful track record as an experienced HR leader with sound working knowledge of the UK market and labour law; having previously served on a local leadership team.
● In-depth HR management experience with demonstrated knowledge of the HR function and processes with a strong understanding of legal ramifications of non-compliance.
● Consistent evidence of ability to exercise good judgement, discretion and maturity in responding to requests for data, resolving problems and to effectively handle confidential information and materials.
● Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Corporate and Region management, as well as employees across functions. Proven ability to infl uence via great facilitation and coaching.
● Strong organisational skills with ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
● Experience working across a global matrixed organisation preferably with Consumer Goods experience.What Makes You Unique
● Business fluency in English is a must; any additional language is a plus
● Formal education or certifications in HR
