Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Build and execute comprehensive HR policies and frameworks that align with the company’s growth objectives and drive a high-performance culture.Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Lead the recruitment process, including developing scalable hiring strategies, sourcing top talent, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.Performance Management: Establish and manage performance metrics, accountability systems, and coaching programs to maintain a high-performing workforce.HR Compliance and Legal Oversight: Ensure the company’s HR practices adhere to all applicable labor laws, employment standards, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on Ontario’s compliance guidelines.Employee Engagement and Retention: Develop strategies to foster employee engagement, recognition, and retention through career growth opportunities, competitive compensation, and a positive work environment.Conflict Resolution and Employee Relations: Mediate disputes, manage employee relations, and implement resolution strategies to maintain a productive and collaborative work environment.HR Systems and Process Optimization: Scale HR systems, workflows, and technology to improve efficiency and ensure that HR operations support the company’s evolving needs as it grows.Qualifications
Extensive HR Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading HR functions in high-growth companies, with experience building HR departments and driving organizational change.Strong Knowledge of HR Compliance: Deep understanding of labor laws, employment standards, and compliance requirements, particularly in Ontario, to ensure legal and ethical HR practices.Talent Acquisition Expertise: Demonstrated success in creating and executing scalable recruitment strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market.Performance Management Proficiency: Experience designing and implementing performance management systems that foster accountability, professional growth, and high performance in a fast-paced environment.Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that align with business goals and drive organizational success, while also solving complex HR challenges.Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and engage with employees at all levels of the organization.HR Technology Savvy: Experience with HR technology systems and tools, with the ability to optimize and scale HR processes to support rapid company growth.Summary
