Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a HR Generalist in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing human resource strategies, managing talent acquisition, and administering human resource programs. You will also be tasked with maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as managing compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Implement talent strategies in line with the organization’s needs, focusing on recruitment, retention, and succession planning
• Manage the full cycle of the talent acquisition process, including the recruitment, interviewing, and permanent placement of job applicants with experience in managerial, exempt, and detail-oriented roles
• Develop and implement new employee orientation and recognition programs
• Provide support and guidance to management and other staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive human resource matters
• Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
• Research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to attract and retain top talent
• Create learning and development programs to provide internal development opportunities for employees
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and review policies and practices regularly to ensure compliance
• Stay updated on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
• Administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
• Encourage team members to utilize PTO within policy guidelines
• Maintain and update company handbook and employee position descriptions as needed
• Serve as a backup to Payroll Specialist for payroll processing when required. Requirements • Proficiency in Benefit Functions, including the design and administration of employee benefits programs.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong understanding of Compliance, with the ability to ensure the company’s policies and procedures meet all legal and ethical standards.
• Experience in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and performance improvement planning.
• Knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations and the ability to manage related processes.
• Expertise in Onboarding, with the capability to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires into the company.
• Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
• Ability to foster Employee Engagement, creating and implementing strategies to increase morale and productivity.
• Experience in Employee Training, including the design and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Proficiency in Benefits Administration, ensuring all employee benefits are managed effectively and efficiently.
• Experience in Benefits Analysis, including reviewing and recommending changes to the company’s benefits offerings.
• Knowledge of Compensation Analysis, with the ability to evaluate and recommend changes to the company’s compensation structure.
